The focal point of our work in Sheffield is the highly regarded Peile House Project.
Peile House offers quality supported accommodation in 10 bedsits, and 4 self-contained flats in a large property in the North of the City. The accommodation is fully furnished to a very high standard, and all units have their own private kitchens that are fully equipped to include basic cutlery and crockery.
Peile House is staffed 24 hours per day by dedicated staff who are experienced, approachable and specialise in working with vulnerable young women aged 16 – 25 years.
Originally opening it’s doors on 17th March 1978, Peile House underwent significant renovations before reopening in April 1993 in its current form. For a list of services and support offered click here.
The work at Peile House is supported by our very first charity shop, and all Peile House residents have the opportunity to volunteer. The shop is based in the Firth Park area of Sheffield, and residents have the opportunity to improve their CV, gain social skills, improve communication skills and become work ready.
An NOCN Accredited volunteer qualification can also be gained
