Peile House provides housing related support to vulnerable young women at risk. This includes single young women and those who are pregnant or already have a child in their care. The service assists young women to gain the skills and confidence that they will need to make the transition from homelessness to independence; to re establish relationships with family and to return home where appropriate. Young women with children will gain parenting skills and all clients will develop life skills, self-confidence and a sense of self-worth and achievement.
The project is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Peile House has a small crèche area which has recently been created by Bright Horizons Family Solutions®. To read more about this click here.
I’m glad my counselling has been sorted out and I can’t wait to start it as I think it’s time I started to sort myself out and get the help I need. I am glad of the support I have had and glad that social services don’t think they need to stay involved. The support I have has helped me a lot and I feel you have been there whenever I have needed you – Young Parent
